Warning: This is a complaint post.
It is HOT!! I mean sweaty knee pits hot. Plus there's no air conditioner in our building. I thought about making dinner tonight and then I walked into our apt. I don't know exactly what temperature it is but I can tell you that it is hotter than 200 degrees in here. There's no way I'm cooking tonight. Everybody keeps saying "aren't you form Georgia? It's always hot there". The only difference is that everyone and their dog has an air conditioner. How do people not put air conditioners in buildings?? This is ridiculous. I'm sweating just sitting here. Looks like I'm going to be spending the rest of the evening outside until the apt becomes livable and I can re-enter my home.

ReplyDeleteewwww. i HATE hot apartments. at the end of the semester, i was taking like three showers a day just so i didn't feel all sweaty and NASTY.
We can't wait to do something fun with you guys! Yes, so far it's been pretty rough and I think about things you've told me. I keep reminding myself that's it's okay that I think this is hard because other people have felt what I have too. I'm still adjusting and trying to get sleep and in some type of routine, but it's still not close yet. How long are you going to be living in Georgia?
