The Twilight thing...

OK, I'm tired of being the only one who isn't going crazy over these Twilight books/movies. I have to admit.... the movie previews??? I think they're CREEPY! and WEIRD!! I just don't get it. Anyone else out there like me?

  2. That's what i thought until i read the books. OMG they are amazing. and totally obsession making. Like really. I read them all in 5 days. Stayed up til 4 in the morning. And couldn't stop thinking about them CONSTANTLY for MONTHS! I'm so not kidding. I think Stephenie Meyers puts crack on the pages or something. But really, the books are awesome. i hated the first movie. it just wasn't nearly as good as the books. and i'm not a team Jacob fan so i don't care to see the second one too much... though i will eventually!

  3. I thought the books were entertaining, and that's all--entertaining. The movie (twilight at least), was not good at all. I'm amazed at the attention these books and movies have received, and the time people have to talk and think about vampires and make-believe stories.

  5. oh linz give in, be cool! everybody's doing it. you should too! no but seriously, i agree with kelly. other then the not watching movie 2 b/c of not being a jake fan. (after she watches it she will be! :))

    but serioulsy, again, they are good, just give it a try!

  8. Again, the reason it seems weird and creepy is because vampires ARE weird and creepy. The thing about the books that wins people over is the way it comes to life in your head and you accept the concept the way you do with any sci-fi flick or supernatural story. The books are very intriguing and it's a nice "escape" from reality - better entertainment than TV BY FAR!!! I'm not a fan of the movies. I think the reason they are so popular is because everyone who's read the books loves the stories and wants to see them brought to life. Jacob is the only one worth watching in the 2nd movie anyway (and not just because he's hot) but because the chemistry he brings to the screen is the only thing worth watching. Edward is BORING in New Moon. Okay, long speech by me. I'm done now. Next time you want a good book for the beach or the elliptical machine, I recommend these highly!
